Guide to Getting Started – Setting Up Your Handshake Profile

Employers find students using job interests, work experience, clubs and activities, and skills. Work experience includes internships, jobs, work-study, and volunteering. Clubs and activities allow employers to get to your interests and involvement on campus. Skills can be both technical and soft skills, and the more skills you highlight the better employers can get to know you.
