Center for Career Exploration

Undergrad Peer Advising

If you’re not sure where to start, you might find meeting with another student as a great way to begin.

Meet with one of our highly trained Peer Career Advisors to help you get oriented to all the resources of the Brown Center for Career Exploration, and they can talk to you about getting started with career exploration from a student perspective. In addition, our friendly PCAs are the go-to resource for all resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile support.

If you are a graduate student, we offer peer support as well.  Meet with a Graduate Career Fellow during open hours for quick questions, no appointment needed.

Appointments and walk-ins end for the semester on December 7th. However, Peer Career Advisors are available throughout winter break via zoom by emailing peercareeradvisors@brown.edu

The best way to get started with career services at Brown is to meet with a peer career advisor [PCA] during open hours. These sessions are very comfortable, very welcoming. PCAs are students just like you who are trying to figure out their career paths. It’s a space where you can feel comfortable to ask any question you might have, whether you’re at the beginning of your internship search process or just want someone to double check your resume. PCAs are here to support you throughout any step of the process.
