Experiential Learning

Brown offers a family of programs that support experiential learning by providing students with access to funding and opportunities both on campus and around the world.

Campus Employment

On-campus employment helps students get involved in the Brown community while developing important professional skills such as time management, critical thinking and communication, just to name a few.

Recruiting

Campus recruiting allows students to meet with a variety of employers through events like campus visits, virtual information sessions, employer hosted workshops and career fairs.

As a policy intern working for the [Rhode Island] governor's office, I researched and analyzed proposed legislation from both the Senate and the House to recommend whether the governor should sign on to a bill. It was really important and rewarding work.
